Painterly evergreen pendant tests

I was captivated by this tall evergreen in my neighbourhood and luckily, I was able to get a photo of the full tree.

I've pressed the images onto the glass and am testing various colours and thicknesses of high-temperature glass paint.

And this is how they look after firing in the kiln! I like many of the colour combos. It will be hard to narrow it down.

As you can see, the tree image is now brown. The black pigment has burned away in the kiln, leaving the image composed of iron oxide.

I’ve made a couple mini batches of this new type of evergreen tree pendant based on my samples.🌲 The top row was supposed to have a different blue but I could not remember how to recreate it. 🤷♀️ I’ll keep playing around with the glass paints and possibly take better notes next time!
