I don't currently do custom images. My jewellery is handmade from start to finish and the few images that I add are usually a result of extensive trial and error. Working in batches, keeps my jewellery affordable. Single custom images aren't feasible with my current process.
I get a lot of requests for custom images and I would love to be able to do them. If I find a way to provide them in an affordable way, I certainly will.
Yes! Many of my best pieces would not exist if it were not for customer requests.
I may not be able to fulfill them or incorporate them into my line, especially not right away, but they are helpful and always welcome and often lead to new items.
I really appreciate it when people take the time to send them to me or provide other feedback.
Sort of...I may have colours that are not listed. If you send a note, I can send a photo of what I have.
And, if you catch me when I am making new batches of glass pieces, I may be able to add in a requested colour or colour combo.
High quality waxed cotton cord, imported from Japan. Often mistaken for leather but stronger and longer lasting.
Short answer: Everything can get wet and will be fine. (I can't speak to the affect of swimming and chlorine.)
The longer answer refers specifically to the neck cords: I wear mine 24/7 and do not take it off in the shower. This may shorten its life but it still lasts for a long time.
The main thing to consider about the neck cord getting wet is that it will shrink a bit - maybe 1/2" to 1". I add around 1/2" to the length to allow for humidity etc.
I offer replacement and spare neck cords - at cost. for anyone that has purchased one of my necklaces.
Yes, possibly. And, I will tell you how to stretch it. Moisture from humidity and showers will cause the neck cord fibres to contract.
I add some extra length to account for normal wear. If you wear your necklace a lot (for instance, in the shower) it may shrink more than you want.
You can stretch the neck cord with your hands but only stretch the cord - absolutely do not hold onto the metal part and clasp.
You probably won't feel it stretch but you can measure before and after to check your success.

The dark gunmetal colour ear hooks are gunmetal plated brass (the gunmetal being an alloy). I use these because I like how they look with my glass.
If you see steel colour ear hooks and posts, they are nickel free and usually surgical steel.
The silver hooks will be either sterling or argentium silver and clearly described as such on the product page.
If you like a particular set of earrings but prefer a different type or style of post or hook, it may be possible! Please get in touch with your request.
My glass pieces are much less fragile that you might expect.
Round glass pieces are much less likely to break if dropped than a piece with corners such as a flat rectangle pendant. So the flatter and more square the piece, the more fragile.
However, earrings would be less likely to break than a pendant because they are lighter and would often be protected by the ear hook etc.
