These are a bit different. I've been experimenting with pressing designs into glass.
For these pieces, I've applied an oven-cured paint and then sanded the glass to a matte finish, leaving only the metallic colour in the debossed design. Next, the corners will be softened. Then I'll match them up, or mis-match them, into fun drop earrings.
I'm going all in on the black and white cat pendant.

The first one was a mishap when two pendants got a bit too close together in the kiln. Now I'm recreating that happy accident.
And I'm pretty happy with these new shapes as well.

I collect all sorts of chain so that I can have all kinds of options for my necklaces and bracelets, and sometimes earrings :) But, then I don't get around to photographing and offering them on my web shop.
Well, I got some photos done and will see how best to add them to my listings. In the meantime, here is a look at the main selection. These are the thinner and lighter chains best suited for the shorter (under 24") pendants necklaces.

🌑🌙☀️ Way back in the 90s, I cast an image from the centrepiece of a 1960s vintage astrology board game (???). It was originally a sun, but in round pendant size (without the large sun rays) it more resembles a calm moon face, although I still see it as both or either.
I use to make ceramic sun moon face necklaces. Fun and easy. I wasn't sure that I could swing it with glass but after months of tests and trials and many casts and firings, I can now make a ready to wear sun-moon-face necklace.💫
And so now I am listing several of the successful one of a kind tests and samples. Some of these I might be lucky enough to be able to make again, but some of them were a moment in time and I may have mislaid my notes;)
Using every scrap I can and the result should be some fun one-off designs.
It’s a work day bonus when I can open the kiln and remove the molds to find these calming paper faces looking up at me. 🌞
I've brought back a classic image from back when I was making ceramic jewellery. I'm working to incorporate this calm face image into a glass pendant. Harder than I expected but a fun process nonetheless.
Instead of making ceramic faces as pendants, I made ceramic stamps from the negative image of the face to press the glass in the kiln.

Testing colours for a batch of Pigeon necklaces 🎨✨🐦
I left out a good colour combo from this test: pale pink on dull purple (hard to get a vibrant purple in glass)! So I haven’t decided which of the pink purple colours to go ahead with. 🐦 Opinions welcome!
I don't want my future self to say, "Why didn't you get more done while stuck inside surrounded by all your work stuff?" When I had trouble getting a hold of my one go-to necklace chain, I removed the chain option from my pendant necklaces. After all, most of my customers choose the cotton cord option (high quality imported Japanese waxed cotton cord).
But I have a variety of interesting chain in my studio, some of which can suit some necklaces in particular. I've decided to add limited quantities of chain (because that's what I have;) to specific pendant necklaces.
(And have more new styles of chain waiting in the wings. Check back for those or join my mail list and I will send a note when they are added.)
P.S. If you want to match a chain and pendant (and even a different length), there is a good chance that it is doable, even if it isn't shown on the listing just send me a note and I will respond asap.
